Professor Malcolm Todd, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University, has been awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA). 

Principal Fellowship of the HEA recognises a sustained record of effective strategic leadership in academic practice and academic development as a key contribution to high quality student learning. 

Fellowship also demonstrates a personal and institutional commitment to professionalism in teaching and learning in higher education, and recognises professionals influencing this across the wider UK university sector as well as internationally. 

Professor Todd joins approximately 1,300 other Principal Fellows of the HEA around the world. 

Professor Malcolm Todd, Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University said: “I am delighted to be awarded Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and represent Leeds Trinity. As a University, we are committed to excellence in teaching and learning, enhancing the student experience and developing highly employable graduates. Professor Todd has recently been appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University, having joined the institution as Interim in August 2020. Prior to joining Leeds Trinity, Professor Todd held the position of Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Derby.
