At Leeds Trinity University, we ensure that all our standard undergraduate degrees offer a blend of employability skills, professional work placements, extra-curricular activities and one-to-one support.

That means no matter which Leeds Trinity degree you choose, you’ll receive our special blend of support and guidance, giving you a head-start in your dream career once you graduate.

Our employability statistic speaks for itself with 95% of our graduates in employment or further study 15 months after graduating (Graduate Outcomes, Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) published 2023).

From day one, our Careers+Placements team will offer you a variety of services to help you become as employable as possible by the time you graduate.

Guiding you through the professional work placements you'll complete as part of your degree, the team will help you plan your career, work with you on your job search and advise you on future study options.

During your time with us, you’ll also work on your Career Passport. Whether you start university with a clear idea of your career path, or you discover your next steps during your degree, our Career Passport is designed to help you record and showcase the employability skills you develop throughout your time with us – providing you with a bank of evidence to use for job applications and interviews.

Our Graduate Employment Team is available to assist all our graduates for up to three years after you graduate, including:

  • One-to-one appointments on CVs, cover letters, personal statements and interview preparation
  • Support with building all aspects of your professional profile
  • Support with searching for a job
  • Access to on-campus careers events

If you're looking for a part-time role to fit around your studies, a summer job, or a graduate position, Careers+Placements can help. Student and graduate vacancies are advertised through our online system.

You can also get help with your CV and application forms at our Careers+Placements drop-in sessions or by booking an appointment with a careers advisor.
